This is an invaluable resource for nursing facilities that need an overall review to determine specific areas that need to be focused on before state survey.  This is also beneficial for facilities with recent turnover in management or ownership, and for nursing facilities with a history of poor surveys.  

It's not enough to have a "bank" of policies or a subscription service.  Policies should be updated/reviewed annually, signed, and dated.  Staff must be aware of the policy, and the facility must follow the policies.  Policies are meant to be guidelines when an adverse event happens.  It cannot be vague or left to interpretation.  

We can provide an on-site or remote review of documentation in any area.  The most problematic area for nursing home are incidents, wounds, falls, weight loss, changes in status, and care plans.
